How is it that Scott Kelby and NAPP reap the benefit of Adobe’s lackluster performance with their switch to the Creative Cloud instead of a standard license agreement? If you’re not aware, Adobe gave out free one year subscriptions to the Creative Cloud for anyone who signed up for Photoshop World, which is Scott Kelby’s baby. Some have estimated that three or four thousand otherwise non-attenders took Adobe up on the offer and shelled out the 700 bucks to attend Photoshop World.
I’ve been all for the advancement of Adobe’s products, but I’m no longer certain that the Creative Cloud only model is necessary.
